Ethan is almost always willing to be my model. Back in May I drug him out to get some pictures of him while the desert was in bloom, check out that post here. So I decided that since today wasn’t as hot as some other days this week I would take him out again. Now, this was sort of doomed from the start because just as we got to our location and before I had even gotten my camera out of the bag Ethan spotted something moving….it was this tiny little frog. Of course he had to pick it up, and then we had to find something to put it in. For those of you who know me I’m a bit of a germaphobe. I love hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes! We are in a dry river bed and there is nothing around but trash. I can’t disappoint my little guy and not find something to put “Freddy” (yes, he immediately named him) in. So, I spotted a used water bottle…I know, gross! Ethan didn’t care what we found to put him in, he just did not want to let him go! So Freddy goes into the water bottle and I try to get him focused on the task at hand. Needless to say our “session” was short lived. Who can blame him, he’s a boy, he loves frogs, bugs, bees (yes, he catches the little bees in our back yard, and has never been stung I might add) and most things that move. So, I got a few shots and he got Freddy. All in all it was a good 15 minutes.  He is so cute and sweet and he melts my heart! Some days I am just overcome with emotion by how blessed I am to be raising two of the most wonderful boys!
